Review: Witcher 3

Let's get a few things straight first;

First off, Witcher 3 is so beautiful, I'd ask it to the Ball any day, and it is made for the Masterrace, even the game will run on low at cancer curing 60 FPS on most medium end Laptops/PCs. (I am not responsible for any cancer causing 30fps on consoles, be warned, do not play on Console)

Second off, this Review is purely my opinion on the game, don't get triggered.

Let's start with the graphics, Witcher 3 runs on a awesomely efficient breathtaking engine, so beautiful, with its Textures and Physics, I'd create a Girlfriend on it. Running on REDEngine, the baby of CD Projekt RED, it makes every small movement such as the rustling of leaves very significant and the sounds of nature from birds singing to the distant village fires.

The Story is nothing I've seen before, continuing the Witcher series, you start off, argh, *no spoilers*. Basic story is you're a Witch Hunter. Boom. If you didn't know that, you have no such thing called common sense. The DLC expansion packs are even much more worth it. The DLCs are priced at 25$ total (Season Pass) on Steam. The Game has a very deep story about finding your long lost lover and your surrogate daughter,

Unlike its predecessor, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt doesn't exactly come screaming off the starting line. Compared to The Witcher 2, where you're immediately plunged headlong into a sexy story of intrigue and betrayal, this main quest can seem mundane, even perfunctory at times. But each time I stepped off the well-beaten path to blaze my own trail, it turned into a wild, open, exhilarating fantasy roleplaying experience, rife with opportunities to make use of its excellent combat. Even after over 100 hours with The Witcher 3, it still tempts me to press on – there’s so much more I want to learn, and hunt.

The downsides are; the glitches, but, nothing can be perfect.
That's basically all the downsides.

There's a reason why this game was rated Game of the Year by IGN. So this is a definite recommend.

Keep it Cool.

FlipSide: ReWritten

I've worked on some of Rayhaan's old FlipSide stories, and I've re-editted and written the stories to become longer and clearer.
This particular one is FlipSide 4: http://interestconcentrated.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/flipside-4.html
I thought it was particularly well written and I've made some adjustments to the storyline to better reflect how I think this story should have been drafted as.
Think of it as the final draft of a fantastic story.
I'll try and re-edit some more and post them in the future.
Enjoy!

New Clear War Fair

The great white light of the sun shone upon the survivor's garden. The morning heat was intense, more than enough to awaken the man. He was aged; his features chiselled. He had enough to keep him disturbed, and he only slept because of the pain he felt in his weary body.
The survivor was just a young man when nuclear warfare began. It was a strained idea at the time, not even a last resort for most nations; all under the façade of "world peace". He could still remember the shrill cries of women next door once the warhead was launched. In a few seconds, the government pleaded to the citizens to run for the nearest shelter, and all hell began to break lose. Babies were crying. Animals moaning. The end was nigh.
---
The survivor rose from his bed; a deep sigh rolling down his nostrils. It wasn't really a bed, he thought. The sheets were rags, tearing away at its ends. His pillows were sacks of soft beach sand, decades old, as he was.
Within the span of at most, 2 decades, most of the unhealthy adults passed, and without many adults, a few younger ones could not survive either. His sister, with her delicate health and pale features, was one of the first to go. Upon recollection, the survivor often broke into tears, "Why me? What's the point of living when all I have are these damned chickens?"
He would often kick the cage door in frustration. Suicide was not an option either. He was stronger than that, and as his loved ones passed away in his arms, he vowed he would survive for their sake, and survive he did.
---
Mid- afternoon came, and he retreated to the kitchen. He opened the food vaults and stared into it. The ample amount of nutrition mocked him. It stood for what would keep him alive, what would keep him in his lonesome, vulnerable to the ghosts of his life past. The survivor cooked and dined heartily, as his mother had taught him. He sat at the dining table. In his mind, mother was standing beside him, waiting for him to slip up on his etiquette so she could correct him. A single tear dripped down the sullen face of the survivor, as he remembered his mother and her sharp features. He could never tell her how good her cooking was. He was too much of an idiot, enjoying the food when she fed him.
He finished his lunch and opened grandfather's dilapidated house, conveniently built next to his, almost a century ago. He marvelled at grandfather’s paintings.
His aged fingers rubbed the surface of the portraits, older than him when he saw first them. The beautiful hues had faded away into abstraction, the years and the radiation eating away what was left of art itself.
In this moment of pure but restless bliss, the echoes of his nephews’ voices came back to him, laughing and screaming in excitement as their days were passed in utopia, the epitome of life at the time. The relaxed voices of his lovely Laila, his mother and his sister, drifted over to him, talking about the wonderful cakes they’d make next week, the trips they’d take, the friends they’d meet.
---
The survivor could bare these ghosts no more. He grabbed a Geiger meter from grandfather’s office and headed out of the lead gates. He walked down the street, onto the main road, and into the city.  He walked on, past the destruction of yesteryear. The Geiger meter began beeping. The radiation levels were increasing. The survivor went into ice cream shops, shopping malls, and restaurants, all with his family beside him.
Finally, he ventured to the coast and sat on the rocks. The radiation he was being exposed was gnawing away at his skin, but he didn't mind. The toxic seawater sprayed on his toes as it hit the rocks.
The last of the evening blues darkened, and the views of the old town disappeared as the thick mists set in again.
Watching this spectacle, his emotions got the best of him.  A dry tear dribbled across his wrinkled cheek. The world was so beautiful, why did it have to end the way it did?
He tried his best. He really did. But he had his family again, in his mind, and they were comforting him. Everything was going to be alright. The survivor shed his last tears as his skin melted away atop the coastal rocks.

He knew he had made his family proud.

GAMING REVIEW: Blitz Brigade

Hey guys this is Shehan A.K.A "Tyrant Beast" and I'm bringing you guys an exciting gaming review of Blitz Brigade!!!

For everyone who doesn't know already, Blitz Brigade is a first person shooter for IOS, Android and Windows. It was released on the 9th of May 2013 for all 3 platforms. Created by Gameloft, it's free to download but does contain in app purchases. For all those gamers who don't like "pay to win games", I'd recommend you try it and reconsider. The game uses 1.1 GB of space, kinda obvious, it's graphics are great... Note that this game requires an Internet connection and cannot be used on data, only on Wi-Fi (correct me if I'm wrong).
Image result for blitz brigade

It contains 2 modes. A single player and a multiplayer mode

The game has 6 characters:
1. soldier (moderate speed, damage and health)
2. gunner( a heavy: slow speed, high damage and high health capacity)
3. medic (a support: fast I mean bloody fast, low health, moderate damage, ability to self heal in some weapons)
4. stealth( fast, low health, moderate damage, ability to turn invisible for a period of time)
5. sniper( moderate speed, low, health, high damage especially head shots, ability to shoot from very far but vulnerable at short distances. don't try to 360 no scope, this guy's dangerous to handle)
6. demolisher( moderate speed, health, very high damage, ability to super jump <jump very high> therefore bloody annoying)      very OP.

The first 2, soldier and gunner are unlocked for free at the start. The rest of the characters are unlocked as you level up at different milestones.

Weapons are to be purchased or obtained in daily rewards. There are three modes of weapons: primary, secondary and tertiary. The latest update gives you the ability to fuse and power up weapons. (For example:give a weapon a lightening effect;poison effect; incendiary effect etc.)

The game contains in game vehicles too:
1. Premium crusher:~ Kinda looks like an "AT-DP walker" from Star Wars and has the ability to jump as high as the demolisher in his super jump ability. Very high health and damage makes him very very tough to destroy and kinda OP

2. The 4x4:~ Contains a machine gun. carries two players, one drives while the other shoots from the machine gun

3. Premium thunder roller:~ A tank, tough to destroy, high health. Cumbersome. move on nothing special bout it :)

4. Blitz chopper:~ A helicopter, fun to ride but be careful as the sniper would watching always ;)

5. Battle hornet:~ A helicopter, also fun to ride, such fun!

6. Crimson menace:~ what's better than one tank? Two! So blitz brigade developers made this.

In multiplayer mode, the user is given a choice, either choose the allies or the axis (it's kinda like in CS:GO; choose either terrorists or counter terrorists) and players play against each other.

As you fight you have a number of supplies which you can buy from the shop such as:

Medi-kits
Grenades
Flash grenades
Jet packs
Invincibility tonics
Incendiary grenades
Sticky grenades
EMP grenades and way more

There are many taunts you can do after a kill, these are there to show off. There are cool taunts but you have to purchase them with gems, although gems are pretty easy to get...

Events are present most of the time, these are good ways to get stuff, and not any stuff good stuff, stuff you can get for free by doing the event rather than wasting your in-game money on it.

You are able to communicate by audio in the game, that is, if you let the game to enable your microphone. Bur don't we all hate those screaming kids?

There are guilds (like gangs) and you can always play with friends and guild mates.

The game will allow you to upgrade your characters skills with skill points obtained by daily rewards, levelling up or winning matches consecutively for 5 rounds.

There are many game modes in multiplayer where you play with friends and people across the globe:
1. Free-for-all (kill or be killed, let the mayhem begin!)
2. Team Flag capture (you get points by capturing enemy flags and bringing them to your base)
3. Team death match (you get points by killing opponents from the enemy team)
4. Team domination (you get points by controlling flags, every flag held generates a point every 5 seconds)

Here are the maps:
1. Madagascar ruins
2. Madagascar
3. Cathedral
4. Malta fort
5. Malta docks
6. UFO site

In conclusion, I know Blitz Brigade isn't a hardcore game, but considering its platforms, it's pretty awesome! I highly recommend Blitz Brigade, it's worth a download!

Blog Update July 2016

It's been long time.

Times have been busy, I've been busy, and as the audience for the blog broke down over the last few posts (last year, October), I didn't have much motivation to carry on. Doing the publicising of a post takes a long time, and having to send it across multiple platforms is just too much for too little.
My friends who are the writers have been busy, so they haven't brought up anything new either. I have two posts of Poetry Concentrated in Draft Form, completed and ready to post. but I just don't have the time to PR them.

So, right here, right now, I'm calling the end to all the previous series that were on this blog. A fresh start if you may. Until I have time to do the PR of the posts, they won't be coming up here.

However, I am back here for a reason.
A friend of mine recently contacted me asking if he could write gaming reviews for the blog. I said sure why not, give it a try. Which he did. Which is why I am here.

So I'm holding the gate to an abandoned house for him to enter and start living in again. Hopefully he'll continue to write more than just one article, and hopefully he'll do a better job at staying focused on the job than I did.

If you're reading this, I'd like to offer you thanks for still sticking by us, for that one view, and for bothering to click this link at all. Thank you.

Enjoy.

Poems Concentrated Ed 11

Once upon a summer night,
Within the chambers of rest,
Awoke the weary Quasimodo,
Bearing burden on his chest,

T'was the call of recreation,
That woke poor Quasimodo,
An answer twixt upon his lips,
Fathomed by his best.

"What fine fare thou hast offered!"
Exclaimed the caller of fare,
"To give a fair dame your humour,
Tis' most noble,Quasimodo!".

Verily humoured by the effort,
Quasimodo dared to dream,
Twas a noble deed, not gone to waste,
He saw through the seams.

The fair dame from afar
Seemed Inhuman behind her veil,
And to his caller's despair
Quasimodo hath realized
This bizarre guise,
That She was never there.

For this week, I've got you another amazing, rather classic poem from Rayhaan!
I know the real story behind it, and its rather funny. Not for you. :-)
He's shifted into a more classic tone lately (considering his newer poem which for the next edition), and it works to some credit. It's more of story than poem.
Also, the poems have been getting more and more professional of late, and this is just testament to that. He's stretching his poetic biceps if anything.
It's amazing how many different things poets can gain inspiration from, and how quickly they can do too. Rayhaan said he perfected this poem in less than 30 minutes. I was left feeling star struck. If I want to write up a poem, it takes me more than 30 minutes to think of some inspiration itself. Poets are amazing creatures, they really are. Or maybe I'm such a bad poet. :-D
Reading through, I sense similarities from 15th to 19th century poets, from Shakespeare, Lord Byron to Robert Browning, all great poets from ages.
You're probably wanting to know about the poem, so I don't want to hinder you. Read on for the summary written by Lord Rayhaan himself!

In the poem Quasimodo is called upon by a friend to amuse a young woman in a distant Land with his literary prowess. He does so, much to his associates satisfaction. Quietly, the troubled Quasimodo hopes this lady will love him for his talent, and not for his looks. However, he soon uncovers a conspiracy where he finds, to his sadness that the woman never existed.

I wonder if I should reveal this, but this mostly reflects Rayhaan's own struggles. He likes to think of himself as French humpback....
I feel this edition has been so fragmented. But you're here for the poem, and atleast you got that, and that's pleasing.
I don't think I've offered enough of my opinion, and I'm leaving it like that.
But what about your opinion?
Whether you like it or not, don't forget to +1, share and follow our blog (enter your email up there in gadget!)! We really appreciate it! We love knowing that people do actually enjoy our articles and it offers motivation to keep going!
In terms of what's next week, I have another great poem by Rayhaan for you. But that'll only get released if this get adequate views. Or it'll be just a rerun of this.So please do share!
Finally, thanks for reading! :-D
